The Tyrant
Joshua Meihaus

The Tyrant
The rain started falling, My eyes burned bright,
With the urge, The urge to fight,
With my sword and bow in hand,
My weapon gleamed, With jewels so grand,

And what a mighty blow my blade would land,
And fell a mighty tyrant to the sand,
For in this wasteland, O so cruel,
This evil king has claimed the rule,

But in my heart, There sprouts a dream,
To end this river, This bloodlust stream,
And end the darkness clouding this earth,
And when the tyrant fell, came loves birth.
