One Last Serenade
Jayy Zappone

Torment fills this heart
Itís so defective in every way
All of a sudden this world seems gray
What am I to do?
Each day Iím falling through
You were stronger than an addiction
But your love for me was fiction
How could I have been so blind?
Brown deceiving eyes, such a surprise
I never believed your heart was so cold
A repeating cycle, this story grows old
Whatís a day when it all ends the same?
It takes two, but am I to blame?
So this is a game we play for keeps
Lies, deception were in knew deep
My thoughts are confined within theses walls
I set myself up for the greatest fall
Your words cut through me, to the bone
Your hearts a rock, hard like stone.
If I had a choice, I would still die for you.
One last serenade, you know this is true.
