Green Emerald
Always wanting something in return
Inside with jealousy you burn
Never willing to give a helping hand
The love we share you cannot stand
You don't like it when he treats me good
Praying for our happiness is what you should
If his angry you'll make it worse
On my life you've put a curse
Like putting fuel to a fire
Is what you desire
Our happiness you cannot bare
About our misery you do not care
I hate to say I am related to you
It's all in the petty things you do
The nasty things you say
Always wanting your own way
You try to control us with your money
Thats not how it works honey
We're all adults now
Infront of you our heads won't bow
Your heart was impure from the start
Always wishing for us to be apart
As long as I have God's hand over me
I won't let you bring me down, you'll see
Without you we'll survive, we'll be fine
For my husband is now all mine
He doesn't have to keep it sweet with you
And do whatever you tell him to do
His a grown man with his family now
He too is a father now
You tore apart your own family
You filled the home with jealousy
Now you wonder why we don't all sit together
Laugh together and eat together
Because of you we can't stand to be in the same room together
Even after all your attempts
You still couldn't be the King
