Working 2 Duties Green Emerald
Working two duties
One duty at home and one at work
Do you have any idea how much my bones hurt
Cleaning up your mess and dirt
It's no fun you know
How far would a woman go
Just to keep her home
And save up to go to Rome
Your son keeps me up all night
I'm not wrong, I know I'm right
It's hard waking up early morning
And to see you still in bed snoring
You say I work the perfect hours
But I havn't even got time for hot showers
I come back from work to pick up your mess
Run after our toddler, wash the dishes, cook dinner and all the rest
How do women like me sit at home
And still have time to moan
No work no stress
Just sitting in their fancy dress
I wish I could wake up in the morning
With no worry of going somewhere
I wish I could spend all my hours, days and weeks with my baby
Washing and bathing and combing his beautiful hair
You treat me good that I know
But why won't you help me cope
With all that God has given
Appreciate and don't hate and let me mope
For I deserve diamonds and emeralds
I take care of you our son and our home
So that maybe someday we too can go to
Rome
