Linen And Silk
Tim D Ryan

I wish I forgot, how my heart felt.
Linen and silk.
Dreams are our greatest escape, a raid on the system.
Against the walls they built.
Restoring back to normality, to a childhood memory;
one lost in the pages of eyesight.
You know the kind, where the photgraphs,
make up the paragraphs.
Detailing a much more vivid taste,
devoid of dust, and the ivory keys that lined the pages.

Twitch and twinkle, the stars know more than you.
Trees and shingles, homes dot the canopy horizon.
