Apparently, I've Gone Insane
David Daniels

Every night I lay and scream
Because I don't know what life is supposed to mean

Don't help me up 'cause I didn't fall
I'm on the ground because I'm learning to crawl

The earth keeps spinning round and round
But as it turns it holds me down

The sun shines brightly in the sky
But the rays blind me and make me cry

Someday I hope to feel all right
If only I could find someone to hold me tight

Tears are falling from my eyes
I feel all mixed up and I'm to confused to understand why

If there is a God then he must hate me
I just wish I knew what he expects me to be

How long can I stand this pain
Before the worms tunnel through and eat my brain

How much blood do you want me to bleed
How much of my soul do you exactly need

I gave it all and now it's gone
Can't look ahead because the damage is done

I need a moment to stop and think
Can't quench my thirst because there's poison in the water I drink

Gotta disease and now I itch
My skin is rotting away ain't life a bitch

Help me please I'm the one ya gotta save
If you don't then you'll be standing over my grave

Maybe I just need to pray
If only I could find the words I'd have something to say

Maybe soon I'll catch a break
But I need one now for heaven's sake

Just want to drive far away
And hopefully find happier days

But my car is broken down
Try to start the engine but it won't make a sound

The bills are due that I need to pay
I've spent all the money I saved for a rainy day

I don't mean to bitch and I don't mean to complain
Apparently,I've gone insane

Hopefully I'll get well one day
But for now let them come and take me away
