A Million... ~Blythe~
A million racecars on a winding unknown track two million spectators watching them on their fate
A million happenings in one girls life two million thoughts that entertain her mind
A million bricks on a jail wall two million prisoners desperate for their freedom
A million reasons one boy makes up two million truths he's not willing to tell
I always feel like the stranger who knows everyone and dances like no ones watching then cries like everyone can see
I often feel like the name on everyones lips the reflection in every mirror the doormat at everydoor
i always ask who am I? what do you feel? the same questions over...and over...and over
Then question myself and try to find my self respect to find it ran away holding hands with my integrity
What I learned here was all about love and bitter taste it leaves when you can't find an exit
Today I'm gathered up my dreams and asked them to find what will make me what i want to be
they asked me questions questions I had never even asked myself questions to which I have no answers questions that will lay alone, restless as the rest of the world sleeps
I don't believe or expect that you'll will ever understand blind and bruised I take the long road home
