Trying To Forget You
Katie M Beard

You are always stuck in my mind,
Its put me in such a bind
How am I supposed to stop thinking about you
You are stuck to me like glue
It makes me so mad, I just want to scream
So I go home just to redeem
All my happiness and love
My heart is fluttering like a dove
When I look into your deep blue eyes
It makes me think of all your lies

"While I appreciate the fact that you want to come on here and share your work with others, I am apalled at this piece. Your piece rhymes but so what. The rhyme scheme is God awful. You have forced rhymes that make this piece sound like a first grader wrote it. Now in saying that if you take the same premise and completely rewrite it using your feelings to describe the lose I'm sure this piece can be much more presentable and effective. The best of luck." -- km.
"pardon me...that should say "loss" not lose. Thanks" -- km.

"you're right A. Sorry, Katie, the rant was about me not you. Keep trying!!!!!" -- km.
