Kissed By An Angel.
A short but deathly blackout,
a red light up ahead.
i was certain we were dead.
The brakes began to cry,
the noise pulsated in my head.
Propelled toward the window,
i was certain we were dead.
Nothing could i do,
except to close my eyes,
and ask the angels to stop our car,
i didn't want to die.
I wanted one more chance,
to make everthing right.
I wanted to tell you how i feel,
just a chance to hold you tight.
My life didn't flash before me,
i didn't see a light.
Was this truly the angels given sign,
that i was going to be alright.
My eyes remained up-open,
as the noise ceased to exist.
As silence filled my every thaught,
i wondered if i'd be missed.
The smell of burning rubber,
burnt inside my nose.
The sweet sound of my brothers voice,
my eyes no longer closed.
Laughter filled our bodies,
as tears fell from our eyes.
We'd just been kissed by an angel,
yes, we were alive.
I have been given one more chance,
i'm going to make things right,
i'm going to tell you how i feel,
i'm going to hold you tight.
