Angry (Poetry) A poem. [95 words]
Inside His Head (Poetry) - [93 words]
Too’ late to cry, and too’ late to try?,
You hid, you ran, your temptations took over.
Your life was over before it began, you were drawn to evil.
Is it too’ late to come back in?You took life for granted and
you pulled toward the blackness.
Satan called you his son and you took his hand.
You followed his hollow empty soul. Too’ late to come back in?
Satan’s darkness hovered over you, like a cloud threatening to rain
on a sunny day. Then you see light and He extends his hand,
drawing you into the brightness, blinding you as you turn away.
You decide to take the path, the one most traveled. The one that is easy,
the one with no morals, no responsibilities and no love.
You walk alone, down that barren path, the one full of lies, evil, and deceit.
Destin to wallow in fear, terror and destruction. Too’ late to come back in?
If only you would have taken a moment, just one moment to peer behind you,
You would have seen, seen the light, and the hands still extended to hold you.
He is always there, just beyond the darkness, waiting to fill you with love.
It is never too’ late to come back in.
