To Enlighten
Alberto Pupo

   Calm and collected sitting alone.
Watching a world spin away from your grasp.
No need to repent no need to atone.
Our foray here is brief, nothing ever lasts.

   Prisoners to a new creed.
An out look widely accpeted by the masses.
Even stranger still a new breed.
A formal war, between the classes.

   Instructed to teach and enlighten.
Those in need of emotinal stability.
   Through apocalyptic iamges we frighten.
Then dare call it an act of nobility.

So sell away what's left of your humanity.
Lose the very last droplet of reason and sanity.
