Do You Feel Me? Judith Goff
Do you think of me?
In the morning, unbidden,
You creep into my mind like a revenant
And I wonder, do you think of me?
I wander through the day; oblivious, unaware, then
Suddenly, you are there; in my thoughts
Uninvited, a sinuous, sensuous fantasy
Do you feel me?
And later, beneath a pulse of torrid water,
Hot, so hot; steam swirling around me, within me
I close my eyes as the heat rises …
Do you think of me?
Even dreams are not sacrosanct,
You invade them, insinuating,
Penetrating my subconscious
Do you feel me?
