rain falls like i do, frozen with heat
i wait with my bucket, plunges over my feet
i'd wait forever to take care of you
just flow into me, like you want to

this water always takes up my time
some how this water eases my mind

kneeling down, my bucket's too full
pushing backwards, tumble and roll
i laugh and scream from sheer delight
these pieces of water hold me tight

spread in a puddle, a puddle of blue
drowning in depths, depths of you
it kisses my lips and rolls down my face
submerged in water, right in my place

this water always takes up my time
somehow you always ease my mind
