Between Our Breaths Mike Axe
Between Breaths
Michael Axe
Though it's hard to say it I try between my breaths
What goes unsaid will remain that way until that barrier is broken
Maybe just a faint whisper in the wind, but it is there
a simple reminder that I do care
Between a breath you may not hear
but I am saying all I fear
Not holding in anymore
Ive fought it all and won the lost
There wasnt a point in going on
Do you see between your breaths?
It is all, in fullness, complete
I try so hard to gasp it all in
but I must accept it for what it is
Between my breaths I achieve my dreams
where all is easy to go forth and succeed
Never let go of that precious goal
It is your fire, your passion, your soul...
Tumbled through the dark to find a light
because you were not there
My guiding light was you
Every breath I take into myself
is a breath I take for you....
I am there through your sorrows and your pain
and each time you take a breath
It will be the one between mine and there we shall meet
Between Our Breaths.
