TITLE (EDIT)
Roar Of The Silence
DESCRIPTION
This is the story of my love life (ha, more like the lack of it). Anyhoo, I wanted this to be mysterious, thought-provoking, and slightly foreboding. I think I got my point across.

Roar Of The Silence
Jerrica Nychole Zel'dovich

a silent wish
a whispered prayer
a hopeful dream
no reason to care
she is consumed by the anger
the hate, the pain
she has everything to lose
and nothing to gain
she wants to believe
their pathetic lies
but no one can hear
her desperate cries

she is tired of this

she needs an answer
she needs the facts
she wants to know
the truth, she lacks
she wasn't born
with a heart of stone
they made her like this
made her stand alone
the more she tries
the faster it runs
"just wait," they say
"it will come"

she is tired of waiting

trapped at an impasse
no forward, no back
she is a lone wolf
without a pack
how will it happen?
what will it take
for this to end?
for her heart to break?
there's no way in
there's no way out
who knew the silence
could be so loud?

she is tired of wishing

maybe this is destiny
the way it's supposed to be
nothing could ever open
this lock without a key
she tries to be strong
but she wants to be weak
the hurt is so great
she can't even speak
she will never reach
the top of this hill
the wind is blowing
but the air is still

she is tired of holding on
to a dream that will never come true
