Politically Charged
Joseph Albrecht

Politically charged, my charge is against the party
Who robbed those in need to make themselves hearty.
Against Citizens United.
Corporations can spend without end, without being indicted?
Against mega banks that are too big to fail and jail.
They claim to keep us alive and healthy.
Yet only they will thrive and be wealthy.
Change comes from you and I.
Disagreements aside, we try.
Our voice and our choice is our power.
Let’s use these to help this very hour.
United we stand, divided we fall.
We must demand all to stand tall.
