DESCRIPTION
This is a poem that I wrote in memory of my 13 yr. old niece Felicia Ann Wright... It's a beautiful poem that I could not have written without the help and guidance of God himself... I wrote it from actual events that took place right after my niece died... A gift from God that was given to me... That was meant to be shared.... Which is why I write in the poem... It was written by the hands of two... Because God did indeed help, inspire, and guide me....

I am 35 years old and have two wonderful sons Jerry and Matthew. I work part-time as a Private Investigator I love to learn new thing's about life and people, etc... I love to write... For it allows me to dig deep within myself, where I can be honest and free with all of my many thoughts and feelings, which has truly helped me in learning about who I really am as a person... But my greatest joy in life... Is indeed helping other people, I love people and enjoy trying to make a positive diffrence in the life's of others whenever I can.

A Special Gift

Writing has always been
very special and dear to
me.
Something normally not shared
unless it was meant to
be....
So I have something Special
that I must share with
you,
A Very Special Poem
written by the hands of
two....
And after you read it
I think you will
understand,
That I did indeed
have a helping
hand....
For within this Poem
comes a Special
Wish
From an Angel in Heaven
with whom we all
miss....
It was November 20th of
99
that forever changed the Life's
of both yours and
mine....
And never could we forget
that unhappy
day,
In which our Loved One
was taken
away....
At first it seemed
so cruel and
unfair,
That I found myself
questioning God in silent
prayer....
Because the harder I tried
I just could not
understand,
Why Dear God,
did you take Felicia
Ann....
Why did you take
my 13 year old
niece,
And would this pain I feel--
ever cease....
For it felt like my body
had went completely
lame,
Not knowing what to do
with this sorrow and
pain....
And then it was as though
I became peaceful and
free,
When words I've shared
with others
started coming back to
me....
If the answers you seek
are to be honest and
true,
You must first look around
and then look within
you....
So I knew then,
that I had a lesson to
learn,
In regards to those answers
that I had strongly
yearned....
Because just as I cried,
yet another
tear,
It was Felicia Ann
that I felt
near....
At first I thought it
was just a
dream,
When that Heart-Shaped Rainbow
appeared on my computer
screen....
But it was a special gift
that was sent to
me,
With a message attached
for me too
see....
A Special Way for her to
show,
That there is something
she wants for us all to
know....
See, God needed an Angel
of a Special
Kind,
One who could make even
the darkest of days truly
shine....
For he knew there were others
that were in special
need,
And that it was I
who could fulfill this very
deed....
And this is why
he took me
home,
So my Spirit could come
and freely
roam....
So do not drown yourself
with any
sorrow,
For I was there yesterday
And I'll be there
tomorrow....
For I try to show each of you
in some different
way,
That I am always with you
each and every
day....
So Please Believe
that I am never
far,
And when you sleep,
I am your shining
star....
And when you feel
that no one
cares,
Just look into your heart
and I'll be
there....
I hope this poem
that I have shared with
you,
Will somehow also
touch you
too....
Because despite the
pain, sorrow and
tears,
That each of us have experienced
throughout this
year....
I think about that gift
that was sent my
way,
And Thank God for that Blessing
each and every
day....
Because now when I look
up into the
skies,
It is not tears
that fall from my
eyes....
For whenever a Rainbow
comes into
sight,
I know it's Our Angel
