DESCRIPTION
This is a short lyric poem that meditates on the transience of human life, the destructive power of time and calamity, and the possibility of spiritual renewal. The title itself establishes the core metaphor : seasons as a symbol of impermanence, with human existence compared to fragile, wind-scattered leaves. [135 words]

Seasons Pass Away Like Dry Leaves Dr Surya Kumar Daimari
Seasons pass away like dry leaves,
Drifted by the wind in winter.
Human happiness is too brief,
Oya, the Hurricane comes in summer,
Swirling and whirling the water.
Like a roaring phantom,
The death comes all of a sudden.
Oh, our Human pride is frozen.
“Like autumn leaves,
We wither and fall,
And our sins sweep us away,
Like the wind.” (Isiah 64:6)
Yet another day,
When the Hurricane Lady is gone,
The earth is still breathing.
The indigo sky is clean,
The morning sun shines bright,
The morning dew on grass turns into diamond,
And life signs a new bond.
Thus saith the Lord,
“Blessed is the one who does not
Walk in step with the wicked any way,
He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
And he yields its fruit in season,
And whose leaf does not wither away.” (Psalm 1:1-3)
“It’s leaves are eternally green” (Jeremiah 17:8)
And not drifted by the hurricane wind.
