He is a university lecturer,a teacher of English.As far as I can remember,he has always been a university teacher,making the same jokes.But these jokes have never been boring or unrefined.They are always interesting.He delivers them with different intonations making them come alive again and again.He is loved by all the students at university and envied by his colleagues for his being loved.He is strict and forthright and truthful to the point of rudeness.It seems that he will never forget your mistakes and will recall them and remind you of them many years later....You will always be his student and will never forget this fact.He will make it obvious if he doesn't like you,but that will not affect the quality of his teaching,or his treatment of you.He doesn't have to like you.You don't have to like him either.This is the way of the world and perfectly normal....He has always loved his native land.The land was poor and hungry;it was controlled;it was under pressure.However,he believed that one day he would sing songs in his mother tongue,the language of his fathers....The brave and courageous loved their anthem.The lecturer's eyes filled with tears whenever he heard it sung.He never spoke any other language other than his mother tongue of Ukraine.Foreign languages?Yes,he knows several and is proud of them,but he was disloyal to his beloved Ukrainian....The Lecturer helped and still helps everybody in need.I was not a very brave girl at university but I NEVER CAME TO HIM ASKING FOR HELP.hHE SAW EVERYTHING AND HELPED WITH EVERYTHING THAT HE COULD.I am sure that he keeps helping everybody in need....Life today is very different,but it still interesting at the same time.Students are much braver than they were before,and teachers sometimes need our help in present day society....But I belive that whatever happenes,they will remember one professor with a moustache,a childish smile and plenty of jokes.And this memory of him make them proud of their country,and proud to speak its beautiful language.UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE!!!
