Don't Be Obsessive

When I go to school everyday, I hear some of the sassy girls just listening
to their Ipods and what not or talking about somebody named, 'Flavor
Flave.' Ok, I respect them for speaking their mind, but that doesn't mean
that they can make a pathetic excuse of acting just like them. That's like
having Hitler as a role model. So, I go into Language Arts class and I hear
one of my classmates saying, "I'M THE REAL OG! I'M A GANGSTA DAWG!!"
And so, I think to myself, "Shut up already. You're not an OG, your not
a gangster, you're in school so use proper english and language, and stop
trying to act all tough like Xzibit or some other rapper. Listen to a
different genre of music rather than the same one." It can be really
annoying an I barely have any pity for them when the next day when
they say that in a Ghetto, they get shot.
A lot of you may not agree with me, but some of your opinions don't
matter to me. You may think, "Oh, they're just being themselves."
Well they aren't. All they're doing is acting like a 'gangsta', saying that
they've had intercourse before when they really don't know what the
word even means, and act all tough. Sure, they may be joking and all,
being all friendly to everyone. But one day that'll go too far and they'll
get shot or killed.
Now, to the other part of this topic of one of the people named, 'Flavor
Flave' or whatever. During Language Arts class we had to do research
on someone and practically everyone except one of the only white kids
(I'm white too) wanted to do Flavor Flave. Wow, people, if you know that
nearly everyone of your ethnic group knows about him, why pick it?
It's not like you're in a loterry and you hope that if you raise your hand
first and make monkey noises that the teacher picks on your first and
you make your suggestion so that you can get it WON'T WORK.
Some of you may think, "Well I didn't know everyone knew about Flavor Flave!",
when you really know nearly everyone does. For Hell's sake, he's just
some pimp that talks about his hoes and wear his baggy 200 length
and waist pants all the way down to his ankles while sitting back in a chair
with his legs spread out all lazy like so that his scrotum is a direct
shot to incoming missles.
There are plenty of other people out there to look up to and be your
roll model or other genres of music to listen to so you're not always
listening to the monotony of the same music by Usher or whoever.
Ok, I can't think of anything else right now so I'm cutting this discussion
