The Differance Between Nigger And Nigga-From A White Person's Point Of View

Nigger and Nigga. That's the same thing, right?
Wrong. In fact more wrong than you think. First,
let's think about the word Nigger. Who do you
think says that more? Whites, or Blacks? The cold
truth is that white people say it more. Now let's
get this straight. They say Nigger, not Nigga.
And only in the security of their homes of course,
and only when a Black person makes them mad.
But in public, (School, work, where ever)you don't
hear it though. Why? Because, Black's think it is
wrong for a White's to say it at all. Black's
think it is racial for a White man to call them
a Nigger. Which, I think it is too. but...
Now let's get to the word Nigga. Who do you think
says that more? White's or Black's? The cold truth
is that Black people say it more.(If you don't
beleive me, searc lyrics, for a rap song. The word
these use is 'Nigga') In fact Blacks are
the only people to say it at all. Except for the White
kids who think they are black, who can sometimes
get away with it. Now let me ask you someting else.
Do you think it's right for a Black man to get mad
at a White man for calling him something his friend
called him 2 seconds ago. I am not saying, that
white people should be allowed to call Black people
Niggers, or Niggas. No I'm saying nobody should call
anybody something that could cause harm.
...so I agree that White people should not
call Black people Niggers. But I also agree that
Black people should not call Black people Niggas

"Good piece but what you should have done, Bryan was a little more research. Saying that blacks use that word more may be inaccurate as the same with whites. The fact is that we just don't know and never will. People, of all races, have used that word. It is the way it is used. Don't get me wrong, I hate both versions, but instead of approaching this piece the way you had, you should have gone in the route of asking why the word is still used anyway. "Disagree with all the above. A word is a word, the offence is in the meaning. People are far too ready to take offence and to be offended on others' behalf. We get it all the time in the UK, "Muslims are offended by public celebration of Christmas", "Gays are offended by pictures of Romeo and Juliet in marriage registry offices" etc. Usually you find the assertions are made by politically correct fools who are neither Muslim not Gay and they only increase predudice against those groups by those who are fed up with having all their traditions challenged. Calling a black guy a nigger may be offensive, but what happened to individual freedom? Surely he is entitled, like the rest of us, to call himself whatever he likes." -- xoggoth, UK.
