Cast The First Stone
Desi Williams

Religion is one of those touchy subjects we're not
supposed to discuss in school or argue about at the
dinner table. But when it does come up, what will
you say? Many people have a predisposed position
on religion and faith and beliefs. One is right and
all the others are wrong. Let me ask you something.
How do you know that any one of these dogmas are real?
Nobody can know for sure, yet so many fights break
out over completely subjective claims. Not much has
been proven, except for that some of the Big Kahuna's
set foot on this earth and made a few waves. Now,
I am not saying that everything be based on science
and facts, although that certainly helps when you're
proving a case. However, how can someone believe you
when you say,"I've heard from the Lord. He spoke
to me." First of all, you may be a pathological liar.
Enough said there. Also, maybe they haven't
had their god speak to them, so they can't possibly
know what you're talking about unless they had.

Acceptance is key. If you say that a religion is
bad, someone is going to get offended. i think that
if you don't believe in that religion then just don't
listen. To me, it's like listening to someone
speak a different language. You're not going to
tell them to shut up because you don't understand
it or you don't like it. If you'r going to criticize,
do some research first. Learn the language, if you
will. Let the one without sin cast the first stone.
