A Lovely Adventure

It was a sunny day; Tessa and I are waiting for our friends, Ellen and Ivan. By the way, my name is Alyssa. I have long blond hair until my waist and blue eyes with fair skin. Tessa’s full name is Tessa Brooks and she has long brown hair with dark brown eyes. We were waiting for our friends to go to the cinema to watch a movie. We wait and wait and wait until there were ten minutes left before the movie even start. Then we decided to leave to watch to and leave them. After five minutes, an unfamiliar bus came. It was purple I colour and has three levels.
We didn’t care and went in. Then a man came an asked us where were our trunks. We didn’t understand what he was saying at all. What trunks? Then we saw they were beds and people were carrying trunks. Then he asked if we know anything about the magic world. We said that we didn’t. He explained that only chosen people are allowed to do magic or learn magic. He said children who are 12 year are allowed to go to a magical school called Hogwarts. We are supposed to stay there for a year and come back home for the Christmas holidays which is two months. We asked him that our parents will worry about us and will find us if we don’t tell them this matter. The man said that this is not our real parents. Our real parents are witch and wizards. We asked him if our real parents are in the magical world, then why are they here in the normal world. He explained that every child that is born in the magical world will be sent to the normal world to stay until they are 12 years old.
After the child is 12 years old, it will be sent back to the magical world and be sent to a magical school. This excited me and Tessa. We hoped on the bus and went. After a while the bus made a stop and everyone got off except for me Tessa and three other children. I thought maybe those children also were just picked up from the normal world too. Then he gave each of us a note which has our address to our homes. When I looked a Tessa’s note, it has the same address as mine except that our houses are not the same. We were only neighbours. We walked all the way to our houses and finally we reached a mansion. Beside the mansion was a surrounding garden which was so big. Tessa home was 3 miles away from my mansion. I went to the door and ring the door. A boy came and asked for my name and I gave him my name. He quickly went in and brought out a woman.
The woman said that she was my mother and brought me inside. She introduces me to my brothers and sisters. I’m the 9th member of the family and have a younger brother joining the family next year. George my brother pulled my upstairs and showed me my room. He said that tomorrow we are going to buy the stuff for school.
The next day, I woke in my bed and I went down stairs to have my breakfast. I went to the dining room to and saw that the table was sleeping. Everyone was still sleeping. Except my dad who is watch television. I went to the kitchen and to my horror; all the dishes are doing things by themselves. Nobody is there at all but the dishes are cooking and washing all by it. Then by a blink the dining table had plates with food on it. I went to the table and started eating. When the bell rang everyone started waking up and coming down the stairs.
“You’re up so early in the morning,” said Percy the oldest son in the family.
“Of course, I can’t wait to get my wand and my flying board,” I replied in a happily.
“It’s called a hover board” said Percy.
After everyone ate their breakfast, mom told us to gather around the living room. Then my mom told me to hold Fred’s hand (my older brother). He told me to close my eyes until he says to open them. After about ten minutes I opened my eyes and found myself in a different place. Not in the living but in place with lots of shops. There were food shops, wand shops, pet shops and more. My mom told Fred to bring me the wand shop, broomstick shop and pet shop. First I went to the hover board shop. I looked at all the different types of hover board but I didn’t like any of them. Fred suggested me to buy a Clean Sweep, it is a very good hover board but before I could even hold the Clean Sweep. A hover board came flying to me and stopped in front of me. Then everyone turns and looks at me in surprise, even Fred. Then the owner came rushing to me and cried in a soft voice, “The chosen one.”
“What do you mean?” I asked.
Then the shop owner explained to me that the hover board name is Flyers 6007. It is the world’s fastest hover board of all. This board will choose its owner instead of the owner choosing it. This hover board will lead to glory and everyone wants it. But it chooses me. Which is very fascinating, then Fred went to pay for it when the owner said that’s it is no need to pay for that hover board at all. Then we went to the pet shop to choose a pet for me. Fred told me to choose an owl because it is much more useful than a cat or mouse. It will help me send letters easily. I choose an owl with purple feathers and with emerald green eyes. I named it emerald because of its eyes.
Then later we went to buy a wand in the wand shop. After that we went to meet my mother and the rest of the family. They all bought the books that all of us need. I am so excited. Then we had lunch and back to our mansion. Then the next day I was off to a kind of place and my mom pointed her wand and said ‘Rumbas,’ and a portal came and my mom asked me to go into the portal. Then later-I woke to find myself sleeping in the bus stop. Then I realised that it was just a dream, a weird dream. I really wished it was real. Then my friend said that they had missed the show and we were really sad but I was a little happy and said told her that was ok and we will buy the CD and watch the movie at home. What a mysterious day.
