My Messiah, A Collection Of Verse

My Messiah

My Messiah has moved on,
And my story's unread,
Like love beads on gossamer thread,
For the storm came too early,
And extinguished a proud flame,
A son, a husband, a father,
A poet, a dreamer, a thinker,
Scribbling he cared no less,
Reflections of a distinct vision of the world,
And when someone called for help,
A touch that healed,
And countless eyes could see the distant horizon.

Burnt skin, tortured legs,
Frame that sapped in his service,
Wonder how his love turned to their hatred,
People he cared for,
A realization long after the breath escaped,
That he was all but human,
My Messiah, my friend,
Live on and we shall be together again someday.

Time Door... Bangalore

Time Doors
My time door's a foot away
Time won't you show me
The world

I can't wait to open that door
To get on that train.

Time won't you go a little slow.
For I can't wait to open that door
The Time Door

Lord I've waited so long.
And I can't wait to
open that door and
sail to a distant shore
To the city of lights
To Bangalore

Time doors
It's been so long
I've been hanging on this song
For so long
And my times up and I can't
wait

So time door
So so slow
Soft and slow
Coz I need to go
To my city of lights
Bangalore.

Lost As Ever
Lost as ever
Eversince I learnt to walk
I've been lost
Deprived of light
Light that lights up darkness
Lights up thoughts
Beauty you behold
I know
People they say

How I came is a mystery to me
I too feel it now
As I felt back then
Trying to see where I fit
I felt so sure
I kept knocking on doors
Written on the mirror
No need to look anymore

I need to figure out
Figure out soon
Look in the mirror
Before I go down
Escape this world
Coz this world's no good
World's no good Yes.

ROAD TO HEAVEN

Road to heaven
Is in your heart
You can
Like Flying
With all your heart
Faster and faster
Until you can see no more.
U can hear no more.

U can see signs
Your bicycle is your
wings
And you can fly
And you can hear beat
You can hear God
Sign-partly your
in what u do

And you can
Sit still and listen to signs
Subtle and soft
Like soft bells in a dream
Signs
You can hear.

And u can, yes you can.
You can
Consume yourself
Thoroughly
So that you have no breath left
And then u hear signs
Signs of God Almighty

God is wish of wind
Through an
Opening in your door
Through tiny
hole
That gives
signs.

You can hear
If only I
you
want to hear
which tells you what
to do

In my case
My bicycle is my wings
So God tells me
which will teach
me how to sing
And I can so
God tells me
My belief is true.

So God told me
When I heard through a temple
I could hear bells
which shows
God support and
approval

Open your heart
Speak the truth
And you shall see
God
You shall hear
God

And you can
So God says
Remember your past
Your so called 'Episode'
What was not an episode
It was God
Answering your
prayers
It was divine
calling
And don't doubt
You were flying
Power of truth
Search of
Truth-
Giving yourself
up completely
And you hear God
Which you did
He answered your
prayers

You can
See the signs
Hear, listen
You can

CALIFORNIA BREEZES

Sail Along,
Let me write you a song,
You're the one that I love,
On a hot summer's day,
When there's nobody around,
A step closer to my dream,
If you know what I mean.

COz you're my inspiration,
For a child with imagination,
On with a bag full of pens and papers,
On to meet some obligation,
You're the reason for this love,
Tucked deep down in my heart.

Coz this daily trouble,
This rush and sudden stumble,
These people and lonely places,
Mad cars chasing those dreams,
These pills and washes and dishes,
These skyscrapers and beautiful places,
These strangers for life,
Wear me down,
And make me write this song.

For I need you,
And lying down in this sweet smelling grass,
Swaying flowers and trees and skies,
Where do you come from ,
And where do you go,
I need to know,
Touch as soft,
A song from heaven above,
Felt?
Touched?
Heard?

Coz I gotta go,
It's that time of the day,
When my senses turn numb,
As I run and stumble,
And mumble,
Words I shouldn't say,
For things I shouldn't do,
For eyes that shouldn't see,
WHen I shouldn't be me.

Where's life without You,
California Breezes,
Sail Along,
Let me write you a song,
You're the one that I love,
On a hot summer's day,
When there's nobody around,
A step closer to my dream,
If you know what I mean.

TOY CAR DREAM

That toy car dream,
Would never ride it ,
It seemed.
It was there,
That mean machine,
Envy I did,
That papa's friend's kid,
Riding all day long,
My toy car dream,
Would never ride it,
It seemed.

To the left,
And to the right,
Here and now out of sight,
Dont ask,
Dont touch,
I dont ask for much,
Papa's loud and clear.

Coz other people might....
Bad manners,
Not good,
Good boys do it right,
Coz you've got a lot,
Money,contacts and such,
You've got me,
So thankyou very much.

That car's no good,
And if you should,
I'll get you a car so big,
Coz that kid's no good,
Father is a crook,
So dont ask,
Dont touch,
I dont ask for much,
Where's that toy car dream,
Would never ride it,
It seemed.

Now I am past nineteen,
With a toy car dream,
Papa's loud and clear,
You've got a lot dear,
Money,contacts and such,
You've got me,
So thankyou very much,
That car's no good,
And if you should,
I'll get you a car so big,
Coz that kid's no good,
Father is a crook,
So dont ask,
Dont touch,
I dont ask for much,
You're smart,
You're good,
And if you should,
Just mark my words,
That toy car dream,
Would never ride it,
It seems.

THOSE BROWN OLD SHOES

Ive seen those
Brown old shoes,
Fifteen years,
And a shine like new,
Says it hurts,
And he dont know why,
With a heart so true.

Hear him tall
Gave them all,
My life,my heart,
Thats all I had,
Tell you,
Never felt so bad.

So you see those,
Brown old shoes,
Fifteen years,
And a shine like new,
Says it hurts,
And he dont know why,
With a heart so true.

Hear him all,
Love I did,
With everyone I met,
Love my wife,
And my two kids,
Does anybody hear,
My crying
And no tears,
Coz Im no good,
Thats well understood,
Complains and sighs,
Up to my neck,
They call it family ties,
And now I need a walk,
With my hillbilly boy.

And he dont care,
The clothes he wear,
And he dont need,
On with his,
Brown old shoes,
Fifteen years,
And a shine like new,
And it hurt,
With a heart so true.

FREEDOM

So Cath's got a car,
On her eighteenth Birthday,
Said papa you're the best,
Wont go too far,
Thanyou for showing me this day.

Hung out with friends,
At the local bar,
Said Cheers!
On some beers,
And laughter and fun,
Said papa consider if you might,
I'm gonna stay out the night
Said papa you're the best,
So please stay out of sight,

Coz I am free,
Papa dont you see,
I never felt this way before.

Night full of laughter and fun,
And so it was morning,
And a bright new sun,
Had a hangover,
Said it was over,
To little too soon,
When Cathy was over the moon,
Friends dispersed,
Seems they have lot of work,
No fun,no laughter,
The morning after,
When she was free.

` O Cathy! O Cathy!
Havent you heard,
That lonely bird,
Up in the sky,
The falling rain,
Wind in the plain,
The ocean waves,
Ants on fine soil hill,
Listen up,if you will,
Spiders knit a web,
Lonely sailors on high seas,
Cathy listen,please,
SInging,
This is my gift,
My salvation,
And I am free.

So please stay out of sight

America

What is America?
My dream,
Far,
On my old Carlton guitar,
Where Id got the beat,
Truly a marvellous treat,
Sweating,
On my hum,
Groping for some words.

And a touch down,
Without a sound,
The weathers perfect,
And I could see it coming,
Hopes knew no bounds,
My sweat,
My humming,
Two steps closer,
Six songs later,
Dream I dreamt,
Far,
On my old Carlton guitar,
Where Id got the beat,
Truly a marvellous treat.

Right there on my sack,
Alls good and done,
And heres some,
People stop by for a snack,
Gave my heart,
But theres that blow,
Says youre too slow,
Sure!
Thats a good start.

Friends sit dazed,
Shake their heads,
And carry on instead,
Expecting the unexpected.

Amazed,
Wheres that pride,
On the other side,
Few dream,
And I feel lost.

What is America?
My dream,
Two steps closer,
Six songs later,
On my old Carlton Guitar,
And Ive got the beat,
Truly a marvelous treat.

Clown of the Town

Hes the clown of the town,
As stupid as he gets,
For hear the crowds into splits of laughter,
And the morning after,
Controversial,
Misfit,
And did he care,
No more he swears.

When one stormy night,
With no one in sight,
Divine enlightenment,
If you care,
Through heaven doors,
Wide open,
Walked miles,
In exhilaration,
Seemed a new realization,
Flying with broken wings,
If you,
Had heard his heart sing,
Higher and higher and higher,
Hes a fligher,
Sweat and hunger,
All bony under,
And in a dream,
Flying high above those marching men,
For he had loved ,
With a love so true,
Once before,
And once more,
He was clown of the town,
As stupid as he got,
For hear the crowds into splits of laughter,
And the morning after,
Controversial,
Misfit,
And did I care,
No more I swear.

Silent Dreams

I dreamt a dream,
Silently on lonely streets,
Me and the heaven above,
I kept my mouth shut,
Believed,
With every beat,
Walked a mile ,
With the tune.

I kneel down to you,
My friend,
With all my heart,
My soul,
You move me to tears,
It could never go wrong,
And I need you here,
Well go marching down,
Wheres theres no one to be seen,
Mile after mile,
Till the time come,
And theres nothing to hide,
Till then,
Believe,
And ride the roller coaster.

And if I let it out
Lord!
They dont know,
What its all about,
And I kneel down to you,
My friend,
With all my heart,
My soul,
You move me to tears,
It could never go wrong,
And I need you here.

Eyes felt heavy at night,
So closed my eyes,
And dreamt a dream,
Silently on lonely streets,
Me and the heaven above.
