Gazing Gazing into the stars, sitting on a rock, the ocean is near, with pure white sand, as I let the night take me away like a shooting a star, take me away, into the night, burning bright, never fade away, immortal paradise, Black Faint shades of sunlight through my condo's window it's all black in here, as I awake to the morning, a new day in this life of mine, combating my own demons has never been easy yet it's one of the only things I do, as I drink one cup of tea and smoke a cigarette the smoke escaping to the ceiling I guess suffering is universal, but so is love, that's what bonds us together as humans, and make us understand one another, through time, even though everything fades away into blackness and we cease to exist, there is still a glimpse of hope for brighter days, in paradise. Soul The call to the unfamiliar that fills the empty void of our lives with the sound and feeling of immortality's chains being shattered into millions of pieces we crawl out of our doors everyday, giving more of ourselves each day to the familiar lives that we live, the truth is that, we are free inside the mind of our spirit, through the rings of our souls that echoes like bells from the radius of planet earth spinning on it's axis, truth be told, we are born free out of the spirit of freedom that we hold inside us, out of the desperation that we cry out to be free of the hatred that sometimes clutches us, love can free us, and like the void we will be free basking in the ocean in the window of our own soul, and breathing in when we go below, and waking up when we go to sleep, and screaming out when we are silenced, WE ARE FREE! Freedom chant Oh! Freedom! To be free and live to see this day! That I so seek in the blood of my veins! That my heart so lividly beats each day! How grateful am I! That death cannot conquer me yet! And that through this flesh! My spirit is alive! In all it�s splendor! And wonder! Through God made freedom I am alive! Stars The sound of music tenderly floating towards every ear. The song of freedom chanting from every mouth. The serene voice of liberty for all that is sung. As we all awake to this world. The wings of freedom carrying us past the clouds As lady liberty�s voice reaches past the stars The beautiful night painting the sky As another day will come We strive each day for another tomorrow. For in the morning, we will wake to see the stars. Immortality Through the echoing immortality of time. We see ourselves become older yet we stay young at heart As we awake within a dream, of a beautiful city. Where very fantasy comes alive. Love comes true within your very heart, As freedom awakes every morning To lifts its wing to carry us to the moon, And our eyes gazing past the stars, As we awake to this new morning with a smile. Grand mother As I look up to the stars at night, from where I stand. I know that you are there somewhere. In this land of dreams, where freedom lives. You were a free bird, that flew to new horizons. Chanting songs from the depths of your loving heart. Calling me from the beyond, I am here with you on this day. May God bless you, for your presence blessed us. And least we forget, your gentle smile and laugh. That lit up every eyes that saw this smile. You are missed. Forever In the light that I see in the curtains of my window. I see the planet spinning on its axis, slowly. Even though us men are divided, we are united in our faith. Of bonding in our common humanity, To stand strong as one. With love and compassion. With hope and faith. To live in a world of peace. Where fulfillment and dreaming is everyone�s God given right. And through those dreams. Become who we choose to be. And in those choices. Change the world. Forever.
