The Husk
Rising Falling, Falling
Left lying by the tide
The claw breaks through, stripping that that protects it
The flesh scrapped and destroyed
Left the husk, abandoned

The Gallery
The time it took for me to see,
The time while I was blind,
Now my eyes are grown and your bolt has pierced me,
For now it is too late and like the cripple I am abandoned behind,
My soul, thou and god does Damnate,
On me Satan doth feed, to him I am bind,
From you, you my saviour, elegance ,strength , kindness does radiate,
On you I look upon, I see another chance to be christened,
In you I see my chance to change,
From the foolish Lucifer that I am condemned to be,
To a free man, a man with the freedom to walk the unbroken range,
But bye bye love, it is you not I that wander free,
Bye bye love, bye bye tenderness, bye bye what I never had,
I'm through with waiting, I'm through with counting stars, because of you I'm dejected.

Islands & Peninsulas
This time you treasure,
You have what I have not,
You have what I want, but to you I can not measure
I can have anything, but what I want can't be bought
There are those who respect me, or more probably what I do
What respect I command is not mine, at me others do not
Them, him, her, all I want is the respect of one, you,
I stand, I look, I die, what I want I lack, I haven't got,
The night you told me I died in an embrace,
I just died in your arms, it was something you said,
the way you said it was lined with lace,
but what you said meant I bled
I lost my determination, my drive, my will,
My soul you did kill.

The Silver
The eye look down the stretch, it passes in-front of them,
Extending from the feet to the headland,
Like the halls of the great kings, this land for peasants, unrestricted
Is paved, but not by marble, gold, or granite, but by silver,
The silver of the mind,
AT every point, rock, headland and pool, there lies a seraphim.
An angel lies with me, she lies by my side,
She has no wings, no halo, and no harp, she has no golden robe, except in my mind,
She is an angel to no-one else but me, I am the only one who can see her for her,
I am the only one that can look deep into her soul, and I am the one she trusts,
It does not matter that I live not in a gold laden palace,
To me it doesn't matter that I see her but rarely,
it is the fact that I see her at all which dominates my mind,
She swirls and waltzes, rides high and low.
As she lies there I look into the night,
I look into something I cannot comprehend,
But I need not know or understand it, not when she is there.
