.:Dear Friend:. by Tamera Huntley (1)
"I really like this poem, and can tell it was written from the heart. I like the repetition of the line "Where have you gone?" because it really brings to life the narrators desperate wish to rekindle the friendship, the theme of this poem. I am new to storymania, and look forward to reading more of your writing!" -- Allison Nastoff.

To My Uncle D by Katherine Smith (2)
"What a beautiful poem with a beautiful message of forgiveness that I can tell was written from personal experience. You do a wonderful job of vividly articulating your emotions, allowing the reader to empathize, even if they never experienced that kind of pain. I am new to storymania and look forward to reading more of your poems!" -- Allison Nastoff.
"thank you so much, I truly appreciate that... You know it's amazing how we as humans view tragic events and how the information is processed. We grieve for ourselves before we grieve for the soul who committed the act without acknowledging our own selfishness. I understand that now, and the dust has settled. At sixteen you feel as though no one can relate...as if the path you're traveling was forever covered in woods and the only footsteps visible are your own. Then something changes; you grow, learn, and observe. You tend to listen more. You will find that Storymania is and has always been, you're best friend. This is a place where you will not be judged, you will be heard, and you will feel no pain after all is said and done. It's wonderful. The people, the stories, the experiences, are so touching...you just wish you could save them. I never wanted to be saved. But I was. This site became my emotional outlet, my confidant, my passion. Lol, I wish I hadn't have used a fake name though. At fourteen you fear sexual predators and whatnot. My real name is Kathryn Milner, and I welcome you. " -- Katy , pa, usa.

Third Coffee In. by Terry Collett (1)
"There is no actual rhyming flow to the piece, but somehow it does render as a piece of subtle genius. why would coffee be of any taste, I lurks to be black and odd to be a waste!' - loved this work. For coffee check this out, something relevant from me - http://www.shortstorybook.net/2010/02/08/valentined-love-valentines-day-special-love-story/ " -- Roberto, Mumbai, maharashtra, India.

Nature's A Family by Angel Of Hope (1)
"I thought this was a very creative combination of poems, and I especially loved how they had both a surface meaning of the pain and loss families face, and the abstract meaning of how it can relate to the changing seasons. Keep up the good work! I am new to storymania, and look forward to reading more of your poems!" -- Allison Nastoff.

Masquerade Ball by Angel Flare (1)
"Wow. This was EXTREMELY GOOD! Like, the words weren't too advanced, and I say that as a compliment. Like, usually for a poem to sound intelligent, the poet has to use, like, really intense vocab. But, actually, you wrote a super powerful and truthful poem without using over dramatic words. GREAT!" -- Angel of Hope.

A Love Carved. by Terry Collett (1)
"This is beautifully written. I like the situation of the old-age of carving your initials in a tree trunk. I admire this, amazing work." -- Alyson Strong-Miller.
