The helicopter lands. Raphael and Jerry run into a Nearby doorway. 85 INT. MONITORING AND SURVAILANCE AREA 85 Two IRAQUI SOLDIERS, monitoring their survailance Screens, detect a breach of security in their Facility. SECURITY GUARD I have a security breach in Alpha Section. Repeat, I have CONTINUED 66. 85 CONTINUED 85 SECURITY GUARD (CONT�D) A security breach in Alpha sec- Tion. Outside the door, through the glass, we can see SEVERAL SECURITY GUARDS run past holding weapons. We see Raphael and Jerry, who now holds a weapon Barge in. Raphael touches the security guards on Their forehead. They fall unconscious to the floor. Raphael comes up to the security guard sitting at his Station, and also touches him on his forehead. He Slumps to the floor. RAPHAEL Jerry, now where do they Keep the virus. Find it. JERRY Raphael, I�d need the Password to do that. RAPHAEL Try �Armageddon�. Jerry punches the password into the computer and The following words appear on the computer screen: ACCESS APPROVED, ARMAGEDDON, OMEGA LEVEL 1. RAPHAEL Let�s rock. Raphael gives Jerry a high five. Raphael and Jerry leave the room. The camera comes in for a close up of the words: ACCESS APPROVED, ARMAGEDDON, OMEGA LEVEL 1. ANGELS (voice over) O Raphael, O Raphael. Suddenly, Meghan and Steven rush into the room. The door Is knocked open and we can see the bodies lying still on The floor. Steven and Meghan rush over to the computer. STEVEN Oh, my God, Meghan. He�s CONTINUED 67. 85 CONTINUED 85 STEVEN (CONT�D) Found the virus. We are Doomed. Meghan walks over to a window. She looks out. 86 THE DESERT BEYOND THE FACILITY � DAY 86 The battle between Michael�s army and Satan�s Continues. Heavy casualties on Michael�s Side. The desert sand becomes red as blood. Hail and Brimstone rain from above. Dark clouds, lightning and thunder roar from the Heavens. MEGHAN Armageddon. Steven shakes Meghan out of the trance that she is Falling into. MEGHAN I know the way now. They rush from the room. 87 INT. VIRUS CONTAINMENT UNIT � ARMAGEDDON � OMEGA 87 LEVEL 1 Raphael holds the vile with the deadly virus up to The light. Jerry is down on his knees, holding his head. He is beyond terrified. Suddenly, Satan bursts into the room. He runs down A rather steep, steel stairway. He is extremely happy. SATAN Raphael, we are victorious. We have defeated Michael�s Army. And Gabriel can just Toot her horn elsewhere. Raphael� Raphael seems to be in a trance as he looks at this Vile of deadly virus. Satan, gently, takes the vile from him. CONTINUED 68. 87 CONTINUED 87 Suddenly, Meghan and Steven rush in. They stop At the top of the steep, steel stairs. Meghan Places her hand protectively on her stomach. MEGHAN Raphael, please don�t Do this. I beg you for All our lives. For the Lives of our children. And for my baby as well. Steven grabs Meghan, thinking she might fall. Meghan Is beside herself and pushes Steven back. She looses Her balance and begins to fall. 88 INT. STAIRS � NOSTRADAMUS HOME � 1550 88 Sylvina falls in slow motion down the stairs. She is nine months pregnant. 89 INT. VIRUS CONTAINMENT UNIT � ARMAGEDDON � OMEGA 89 LEVEL 1 � PRESENT DAY Raphael rushes to catch Meghan and he does! MEGHAN Oh, my God. Thank you Raphael. That fall would have killed me And my baby. Meghan places Raphael�s hand on her stomach. RAPHAEL This baby will be a great Teacher. He will be a great Healer. He� Raphael realizes something! RAPHAEL This is my son�s tiny soul. This little soul has crossed The centuries. He will be a Glory to mankind. Raphael dets up in a hurry. He grabs the vile from Satan. Raphael begins to twirl in a gyrating Fashion. Faster and faster. He speeds out of the roof! 90 EXT. THE OUTER REACHES OF THE COSMOS 90 Raphael speeds into the blackness of the cosmos! He comes to a stop, holding The virus in his hands. There is an explosion. The virus is no more! CONTINUED 69. 91 INT. HOSPITAL ROOM � NINE MONTHS LATER � DAY 91 Meghan is sitting up in her hospital bed holding Her new born baby. Steven sits in a chair beside Her. Raphael comes in the room to say hello. MEGHAN Raphael, my God. Hello. Raphael kisses her. RAPHAEL I wanted to see the child He is beautiful like his Mother. Raphael touches her long, dark hair. RAPHAEL What did you name him? MEGHAN Raphael� Say, aren�t You going home? RAPHAEL Yes, I am Meghan. I�m Going back home. You And Steven take care of Each other. 92 INT. STAIRCASE � NOSTRADAMUS HOME � 1550 92 Sylvina stands at the top of the staircase. She Begins to step down, when, due to her ungainly Weight at nine months, she begins to trip. Raphael is behind her and grabs her immediately. He has saved her life this time. He lets go of Her, once she has regained her balance and lets Her walk down the steps. RAPHAEL Sylvina? SYLVINA What is it Raphael? RAPHAEL Please be careful of these Steps, won�t you? CONTINUED 70. 92 CONTINUED 92 SYLVINA Raphael, you worry too much About me! I�m just on my Way down for a glass of milk. 93 INT. MICHAEL DE NOSTRADAMUS� SECRET UPSTAIRS STUDY 93 SALON DE PROVANCE � FRANCE � 1555 � NIGHT Michael de Nostradamus, a gray haired man with a long Beard, dressed in long robes and the four cornered Hat of a physician of his times, is seated at a table. A central fireplace in the room casts shadows on the Walls and on the table where Nostradamus is intent In his work. Half burned candles and books clutter The table. A human skull seems to grin from its place On the table. Nostradamus picks up the branches of a small twig and Passes them slowly over a brass bowl situated on a Tripod. The brass bowl is filled with water. Ripples Begin in the darkened water. Nostradamus begins to Go into a deep trance. He picks up a quill and dips It into a nearby inkwell. His journal is open in Which he will write his visions while in trance. Nostradamus goes into trance scrying into the tripod�s Dark waters. Visions appear in the dark waters. Na- Poleon appears in the many portraits made of him in His life. NOSTRADAMUS (in trance) An Emperor will be born near Italy. He will cost his empire Very dearly. They will say That by the people that surround Him. He will be found less A prince than a butcher. From A simple soldier, he will obtain The empire. From a short robe, He will obtain the long. Visions appear in the dark water of Napoleon in His emperor�s robe and crown. NOSTRADAMUS (agitated in trance) An antichrist� More visions appear in the dark waters. Visions of Hitler in his rise to power in Germany. Parades of CONTINUED 71. 93 CONTINUED 93 adoring Germans, throwing flowers in his path. NOSTRADAMUS (in trance) A captain of greater Germany will By his speaches, seduce great Numbers. The most part of the Battlefield will be against Hister. They shall subjugate the borders Of the Danube. They shall pur- Sue the crooked cross of iron. Nostradamus has been writing all this time in his Journal. NOSTRADAMUS (becoming more agitated) Antichrist! More visions appear in the darkened waters of the Tripod. Visions of Sadam appear and visions of the Gulf War appear. Parades of Sadam with cheers from The crowds. NOSTRADAMUS (very agitated) Very nearly a million men toward Persia. The true serpent will Invade Byzantium and Egypt. He Will enter wicked, infamous Villian. Tyranizing over �Mesopo- Tamia.. The land black and horrible In appearance. (becoming more agitated) Antichrists, antichrists, my God! Nostradamus awakens from his trance. He stands up Very startled, knocking the tripod over. He reads What he has written in his journal. We see that the Title of his journal is �The Centuries� by Michael De Nostradamus. Nostradamus picks up his quill and dabs it into the Inkwell. He writes in his journal. NOSTRADAMUS (to himself) I, Michael de Nostradamus, Have at my disposal volumes, Which have long been hidden. But, dreading what use may Be made of them. I consign CONTINUED 72. 93 CONTINUED 93 NOSTRADAMUS (CONT�D) Them to the flames. Nostradamus picks up several magic books on the Table and throws them into the central fireplace. An errie ethereal glow emanates from the fire, Filling the entire secret study. Nostradamus Picks up his journal, �The Centuries� and is about To consign this magical volume to the flames. Suddenly, a hand reaches out to stop him just At the last minute. It is the Archangel Raphael. RAPHAEL Not so fast, my friend. Michael de Nostradamus Raphael takes the journal, �The Centuries� and Closes the volume. He lays it on the table. RAPHAEL Enough scrying for one night. These visions will only give An old man, bad dreams. NOSTRADAMUS Yes, perhaps you are right, Raphael. Nostradamus stretches and yawns. 94 INT. SECRET STUDY � BESIDE THE FIREPLACE � NIGHT 94 Nostradamus and Raphael sit before the fireplace. They are drinking a glass of red wine. Nostradamus Holds his hands before the fire and the fire roars A bit higher and burns brightly. RAPHAEL How do you do that Michael? NOSTRADAMUS Oh, it is just a little conjurer�s Trick. RAPHAEL (voice over) Nostradamus and I had many Pleasant evenings after dinner Before the fire with our red Wine. We talked of many things. God and the divine right of Kings. CONTINUED 73. 94 CONTINUED 94 RAPHAEL (CONT�D) The destiny of man, and the Glory of salvation. I could Feel the burden of the years Weighing down heavily on this Kind, good, old man. I prayed That the God he loved so much, Would, at his deathbed�s slumber, Carry him off peacefully to Glory. 95 INT. BED CHAMBER � DAY 95 Sylvina holds the baby boy. Raphael kisses her And the baby. Nostradamus comes in and shakes Raphael�s hand. RAPHAEL (voice over) Sylvina had a beautiful baby Boy. She named him after me. Raphael. This was my heaven. This was my home. 96 INT. THE CATHEDRAL DE SALON DE PROVANCE 96 Raphael and Sylvina stand before a PRIEST. The Priest christens the baby. Nostradamus sits in the front church pew. ANGELS (voice over, singing happily) O Raphael, O Raphael 97 EXT. THE APPLE GROVE ON NOSTRADAMUS ESTATE � SIX 97 YEARS LATER Raphael and his son, now six years old, are out Shooting. The son fires a shot. YOUNG RAPHAEL Father, I think I hit him. RAPHAEL Run and see then! Young Raphael runs on ahead. Raphael reloads his Gun. Something gets his attention. He turns Around. CONTINUED 74. 97 CONTINUED 97 Raphael turns around to see Satan leaning against An apple tree. Satan is all dressed in the same Black garments he wore when fleeing Hell. Satan�s Eyes are red and look like a cat�s. He shields His eyes constantly from the sun. RAPHAEL Satan, Satan! My God! Raphael embraces Satan with a bear hug and kisses. Satan, as if coming to himself, genuinely embraces Raphael as well. RAPHAEL Let me take you home. Young Raphael comes back holding a pheasant. RAPHAEL Son, this is an old Friend of mine. Young Raphael takes off his hat and shakes Satan�s hand. SATAN Glad to meet you Sir. Raphael supports Satan as they make their way Back home. Satan has a bad limp. RAPHAEL What happened to you after You were exiled? SATAN Raphael, the stories I Could tell. Well, first After I came to, I found Myself in a blackness so Black I can�t describe it. Lying beside a river, the River Styx, so foul and Putrid, I would puke if I Could find the right words. Then along comes an old geezer Of a ferry man, named Charon, Who paddles over to me and Orders me to get into the Boat! And then� Raphael and Satan make their way home. 75. 98 INT. HALL � NOSTRADAMUS HOME � NIGHT 98 Satan sits before the fireplace with his leg propped Up. A SERVANT tries to get the fire going. SATAN Here, never mind. I�ll Do it. Satan makes a gesture and the fire is ignited. The servant backs away quickly. Raphael enters, holding two glasses of wine. RAPHAEL Satan! SATAN Sorry, but I am cold. What a climate! And Besides, I need the Practice, or I�ll get Out of the habit. RAPHAEL Satan, listen to me. Nostradamus and I need Your help. A nearby Village has been in- Fected with the plague. We think it would be a Good idea for you to go With us. The fire in the fireplace is sucked up the chimney, Leaving cold, smoldering embers. 99 EXT. NEARBY VILLAGE � DAY 99 Nostradamus, Raphael and Satan walk through the Village. There are wagons carrying the dead to A nearby pyre, where they are thrown on the pyre To be burned. A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN walks past Satan. She is selling Rosaries. SATAN Now, that, Gentlemen, Is a beautiful woman. RAPHAEL Satan! Do you remember CONTINUED 76. 99 CONTINUED 99 RAPHAEL (CONT�D) What happened the last time You got involved with a Beautiful woman? Hell was Over run with demons! Raphael takes off his hat and hits Satan with it. Satan stops suddenly. He has a serious expression. SATAN Friends, stop. That house Quickly. 100 INT. BEDROOM � VILLAGE HOUSE 100 Raphael and Nostradamus arrive just in time to see Satan at the bedside of a YOUNG WOMAN, who has Just given birth. Her HUSBAND bends down over her. They are crying. The baby is dead. Satan takes the baby from the mother before she can Protest. He puts his mouth over the baby�s mouth And blows into the little baby�s mouth. The baby Begins to breathe on its own and cries! Satan Hands the baby back to the mother. The husband Shakes his hand. He tries to pay Satan. Satan Shakes his head � no. The father shakes his hand Again! ANGELS (voice over singing) O Satan! O Satan! 101 EXT. VILLAGE STREET 101 Raphael, Nostradamus and Satan walk down the street. Raphael claps Satan on the back. RAPHAEL Well done Satan. Well Done. Satan�s eyes are normal once more. 102 INT. GRAND HALL � NOSTRADAMUS HOME � TEN YEARS LATER 102 The hall has been gaily decorated for the ball. A small ENSEMBLE plays gaily for the dozen or so GUESTS. Young Raphael is now sixteen years old. He moves CONTINUED 77. 102 CONTINUED 102 through the crowd. Nostradamus, now very old, is using a cane. Nostradamus sees Young Raphael and motions to him to come over. Young Raphael moves towards him. Suddenly, he bumps into a PRETTY GIRL of sixteen. PRETTY GIRL Well! YOUNG RAPHAEL Forgive me, Miss. I didn�t Mean to run into you like That. PRETTY GIRL I hope now. Your manners, Sir. YOUNG RAPHAEL I said pardon me, and forgive Me for my clumsiness. Oh, for Heaven�s sake! Young Raphael moves ove to Nostradamus NOSTRADAMUS That girl looks angry. What on earth did you do? Did you spill wine on her Dress? YOUNG RAPHAEL No. Just bumped into her Grandfather. Oh, for Heaven�s Sake. Nostradamus breaks out into laughter. The laughter Leads to a serious coughing fit. Raphael comes over and takes Nostradamus to a nearby Chair to recover from the coughing fit. RAPHAEL Father, the seriousness of that Cough! It�s getting worse. Why Won�t you allow me to heal you? NOSTRADAMUS I am happy tonight, Raphael. No talk of illness. I want to Watch my Grandson dance and Flirt with the pretty girls. I want to watch you and Sylvina Dance and have some fun, too. CONTINUED 78. 102 CONTINUED 102 Nostradamus clears his throat. NOSTRADAMUS (loudly) Sylvina, where are you? Sylvina. Sylvina appears from the crowd. SYLVINA Father, what is it? NOSTRADAMUS Dance with your husband. Have some fun. SYLVINA Just to please you, Papa. Raphael and Sylvina dance with the other COUPLES. Raphael (voice over) That night, Michael de Nostradamus of Salon de Provance, healer and Prophet, passed on. His Was one of the brightest Souls taken to heaven that Night. 103 EXT GRAVEYARD � NOSTRADAMUS ESTATE � DAY 103 Raphael, Sylvina, Young Raphael and Satan all Weep by Nostradamus� tombstone. They turn and walk away together. RAPHAEL (voice over) There was no time For our tears. One Of the worst years of The plague lay ahead. It would devastate Hundreds of villagers In our beloved Provance. What would I do now without Nostradamus. Young Raphael Showed promise and Satan Would help. But, what I wouldn�t give for Nostra- Damus� sage council. 79. 104 INT. VILLAGE INN � NIGHT 104 Raphael, Satan and Young Raphael share a bed. Raphael sits up suddenly. There is an ANGEL standing at the end of the bed. Raphael gets up quietly. He walks over to the Angel. ANGEL O Raphael, O Raphael. RAPHAEL What has happened? ANGEL (sadly) O Raphael. So many Sorrows, I bring more. Your wife, Sylvina is With us now in Heaven. And the souls of the Tiny baby girl, mis- Carried. They ask me To say that they await You in Heaven. The Angel vanishes. Raphael puts his hands over His face and cries. 105 EXT. CEMETERY � NOSTRADAMUS ESTATE 105 Young Raphael, Raphael and Satan stand before Sylvina�s tombstone. They are overwhelmed With grief. 106 EXT. APPLE GROVE � DAY 106 Raphael, Young Raphael and Satan are picking apples And putting them in large straw baskets. Suddenly, the Archangel Michael appears. ARCHANGEL MICHAEL Raphael RAPHAEL Michael! ARCHANGEL MICHAEL It is time Raphael. Time to Come home. God has missed you Kneeling at his throne. You have CONTINUED 80. 106 CONTINUED 106 ARCHANGEL MICHAEL (CONT�D) Had your life here on earth with Your family. Now that your wife Is gone, your son grown, it is time For you to return. RAPHAEL Yes, I want to come home. Raphael walks over to his son and kisses him. ARCHANGEL MICHAEL Your son will do great things. He will be a healer of his time. RAPHAEL Yes, I know. Satan looks downcast. ARCHANGEL MICHAEL Yes, even you, Satan Are expected home! 107 THE THRONE OF HEAVEN � HEAVEN � PRESENT DAY 107 The Archangels kneel before the throne of God. There are ANGELS singing in the heavens above, A beautiful choir of voices. Raphael, Michael, Satan and Gabriel kneel before The throne of God. RAPHAEL I knelt before the Throne Of Heaven, at God�s feet. I sang his praises with the Angels and all of Heaven�s Heavenly choir. I sang of Love and forgiveness. Love Overcomes hate. Healing Overcomes death and forgive- Ness overcomes the vanity Each of us has, of our own Unique specialness in Creation. I was grateful to be back in Heaven. I was happy to be Loved. 108 INT. RAPHAEL�S BEDROOM � HEAVEN 108 Satan is sitting with headsets on listening to CONTINUED 81. 108 CONTINUED 108 rap music. He is reading, �The Centuries� by Nostradamus. Raphael comes into the room. Satan quickly puts The book down on the chair. RAPHAEL Satan, what are you Listening to? Satan turns up the volume so that Raphael can Listen to it. RAPHAEL Satan, I guess it is good That you got your pardon. But, how can you listen to Such evil music. SATAN That�s what God asks me All the time. RAPHAEL And what do you tell him? Satan turns up the volume even more and begins to Sing with the rap music. In a second, Raphael joins In. RAPHAEL AND SATAN (rapping to the music) I won�t take no lip �Cause I�m real hip I can move I can groove So let me give you a tip Doin� good is OK If you do what God say Or evil may Come your way So, remember this tip From someone real hip And one day you�ll save The day.
