"Never happen! Anyway, He gave mankind free will. If we're enslaved, it's because we did it to ourselves. How boring a life it must be for ahteists and agnostics who cannot accept anthing as truth without tangible evidence. The funny thing about tangible(scientific)evidence is that most of it is actually far more theorectical than tangible. " -- Richard.
"I think it is already happening and indeed has been now, for the past few hundred years, at least here in western Europe. On a general point, I can't understand why God apparently makes us as we are, and then expects us to spend our entire lives seeking pardon for the sins we commit. Surely that's His fault from a logical perspective isn't it? " -- Colin Baker.
"Without getting into futile re-hashing over concepts that theologians and biblical historians have debated for centuries, I choose to take a very humble approach to it all. That's the problem with atheists and agnostics. They have no humility and actually believe they can figure it all out. The problem with your "general point" that it's all His fault from a logical perspective is that your logical perspective is fallible and cannot in anyway compete with the infallible logic(if one can even apply the term logic to God) of a Supreme Being. This wonderful mystery of God and his creation, I sincerely believe, was never meant to be understood even by those possessing the highest levels of intelligence among us. Of course, I'm fully aware that the evolutionists and the atheistic scientific community would scoff at this simplistic analysis because most of these elitists consider organized religion tantamount to mythology and fairy tales, functioning as a crutch for the weak, the poor, and the hopeless. Now on with my simplistic approach, which is based upon the Judeo-Christian principles formulated by the scriptures and the ten commandments. These tenets merely tell us how we should live our lives. However, God gave us free will and because most of us are weak, we are repetitive sinners. God is merciful and does not abandon those who sincerely repent. However, He cannot be deceived by those who mock His tolerance. For those who do not believe this, His wrath awaits them. Their fate may be very much like the tuna in the old StarKist tuna fish commercial. " Sorry Charlie, only the finest tuna get to be Starkist." To carry simplicity to the ultimate level is to view all that surrounds us, observing intermittant hiccups of nature such as hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, tidal waves, volcanic eruptions, forest fires etc., knowing that the magnificent Choreographer responsible for all of this is definitely not of this world. " -- Richard.
"Richard, God bless you!" -- Colin.
