Somewhere Something Strange

It was a chilly somber evening of December and I was travelling in my car to the way of my hometown. The way to the town is through a deep forest . I was on the back seat of my car when the car suddenly stops, driver told me that there is a fault in the engine and car could not move further. Then we both tried to seek someone help to find a place for the evening. The evening was getting darker and darker as it was a night of moon eclipse and what worse could happen to me? My driver was nowhere; I called him "Jack..Jack..Jack.." , there was no reply. The forest was so full of trees that one cannot see too far. The deep forest and the dark night was giving me an essence of fear. Before the situation could get even more worse, I saw a chimney and what relaxed me is the smoke coming out of that, which was indicating the presence of somebody their. I followed the way and found an ancient house that was looking as a big tree with some windows and a door. I knocked the door once, twice "tuk-tuk". But there was no answer then I opened the door and tried to step in, as there was no lock at the door.

Before I could get in the house, I saw a slender old man standing on the other side of the door and staring me. Before I could request him to stay there for a night he asked me " who are u? What are u doing here? This is not a motel please leave?" I told him about my problem. After a long conversation and many requests, he agreed to let me to be there for a night.
He took me upstairs to a room, I asked him "Do you live lonely in this forest?" he replied "no
other four persons are also at home" but I did not hear a single voice as the house was
damn silent. He said come down to meet other members after fifteen minutes. After getting fresh, I stepped down to the dining hall where all five were sitting on the dining table. The old man introduced all of them to one as his son and other the son's wife, one as his daughter and the remaining one as a stranger like me. I asked him "they eat dinner so late ", he said "late.. ,its just 9", while it was 12 'o' clock in my watch. I have the dinner but didn't get any taste in that after that I went to my room and sat on the chair to relax.

Before I got a sleep, I heard a frightening scream that feared me very much I have not that courage to go outside and check what's happening there. After some time I peep through the keyhole but unable to see anything as there was another eye on the other side of the door peeping in .I opened the door the same old man was there and he said "The stranger is dead and we have buried him in the backyard., he died because of snake bite" and he left. I was unable to understand that how they can bury the men so fast as it was hardly fifteen minutes passed when I heard the scream. I was thinking about all these mysterious things
Happening there in the house and someone knocked the door of my room tuktuktuk tuck tuck tuck .I opened the there was the son of the old man with his wife they entered the room and bolted the door and after that they told me something which shocked me the most. He told me that they don't have any relationship with the old man and they are just
The way losers like me, They introduced themselves as Mr. & Mrs. Sam.He said " we don't have much time to tell you everything, we came here to tell you that we are leaving
From here and do I want to go with them". I was in a state of shock and I don't know whom to believe and whom to not and while I was thinking all that with my head on my knees there was a sound of door slap. Both Mr. & Mrs. Sam has left the room .I think to leave that house after that but I don't want to be the dinner of the beast in the forest so I decided to stay at a safe place somewhere around the house so that I can keep an eye on what is happening there in the house .So I took my bag and went down from window through the pipe and I
Go to the backyard of the house but someone was already waiting for me their "dead bodies of Mr. & Mrs. Sam ". Someone placed a hand on my shoulder I turned and there
Was the old man, he fell on me as someone has pierce a knife in his back and his last words were leave or not live"Oh God " what is happening here I pray from God to keep me safe and to find the killer, and I start running from there and suddenly. I feel that someone is following me .I turned there was someone in the dark I asked "who is there" and the person start to ran I followed and picked her she was the daughter of the of the old man as told by the old man I asked her "are u the daughter of the old man or someone else" she replied politely "No" but I know who is killing everybody I said its " "you as you are the only person left except me to survive and I am sure that I am not the killer so its you " she said "not me its he" with raising her finger at a man on her left.
He ran and now I throw her and hankers after him and picked his collar and before I could turn him up to look his face some picked my hand and said "sir sir come on wake up, we are at home " I opened my eyes and the driver told me that we are at home and said " sir I think u had good sleep". I thought Oh God that was a dream, now I will not read these type of mystery novels which I had in my hand titled "Somewhere Something Strange".
