                   ONE COUNTRY MORNING

One country morning as I awoke I heard the rooster
as he spoke, cock-a-doodle-do he said to me get up
outside's where you need to be.

Watching the sun come up so bright, get up now you
know this is right. So much to do, so much to see, there's
a little bird singing in the tree.

The chickens are busy laying their eggs, come on get up
lazy stretch those legs. Feed the chickens, and slop the hogs,
and don't forget to water the dogs. You can watch the geese go
flying by, come on outside there's a pretty blue sky.

Hurry up let's go and do those chores You've got to
sweep and mop the floors, so I raised my window and said o:k
and thus begins a brand new day.
