My Swan Song
Skyler Drevan

I really dont want to go
But I must to save myself
From the world that I am trapped
This box, this cube has been my hell
I have been eclipsed like the sun
And turned into a cancerous fiend
Digging beneath the surface of the waterproof skin
Killing cells that were healthy and strong
To make it all better
I shall sing my song of goodbye
And only return when I have more to say
For now I shall lie in silence
As I breed the cells of bereavement

"eeeeyewwwww" -- Brian (Brion') O Neil.
"It seems that your recent pieces have been coming from a darker place than usual. They are shorter, more disturbing, and sad. It's a vivid, powerful piece-hope whatever you're working through passes soon, keep writing" -- kavya.
"You are right, Kavya. Writing is an expression of ones feelings and emotions. Of course being a writer yourself I don't have to tell you that.I am working through this slump but in all honesty, I am fine. Thanks for the review. " -- Skyler.
