His Blood
Janae D Anthony

So as it was written, it must be done, He will die for the sins of man
Dispite the miracles that He performed, By words or the touch of His hand

The crown they weaved, was placed on His head, A reed staff in His right hand
Our Father in heaven has sent Him here, He called the Son of man

They mocked him saying "Save yourself, you are the Son of God
They beat and then the spat on Him, then hit Him with a rod

After they finished mocking Him, they stripped Him of His robe
A roman garment was placed on Him, and now the stroy's told

They led Him away to be crucified, Simon had carried the cross
They came to a place call Golgothe, where many lives were lost

They pierced His hand and then His feet, and divided His garments among them
Now the prophecy was being fulfilled, as they sat around and watched Him

And over His head the cause of death, States: Jesus the King of the Jews
And all who saw and mocked Him, wasn't worthy to fill His shoes

In the ninth hour He gave up His spirit, The earth had began to shake
The curtain were torn, the rocks were split, the dead had began to wake

But in three days He did return, He came in glory and fame
For those of you who don't know Him, Christ Jesus is his name
