Mother and father she cried
im not sure if im the same inside
dead end roads at every turn
when I cry no one seems concerned
I walk alone amongst the crowds
happiness is quiet and sadness rings loud
I tried my best to make you proud
but I have no idea what to do now
THE LEAVES ARE FALLING JUST LIKE ME
WIND BLOWS COLD AND I CANT STAND ON MY FEET
I SIT AT THE BEACH SIDE LOOKING AT THE SEA
CAUSE THERE IS DEATH IN AUGUST AND DEATH IN ME
I used to be just a little girl she said
is there something wrong in my head
I sometimes just want to spend my day in my bed
but im forced to smile and live this life instead
this isnt what it should have been
seems like more enemies in life than friends
I wish I could start all over again
I dont know where Im going and I wanna forget where Ive been
