TITLE (EDIT)
Celebrating In Heaven ...
DESCRIPTION
This poem was written Christmas 2000,
ten months after my Moms' death due to
Alzheimer's. She is loved and missed so very much. Our sister, Vickie passed
away in 1983 and we are sure our Mom never
got over losing her baby to Hodgkins.
Reading the poem you will see that we know she and Vickie are together and happy.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
From Burlington, North Carolina,
am a mother of three sons, grandmother
of six beautiful grandchildren. Was my
moms care giver for three years, therefore
I learned patience, love and respect for
family and loved ones. This was a complete
devastating process to experience the heartbreaking task of being care giver for my mom. My heart ached so for her to remember us yet she didn't after her 'bout with this horrific disease.

Celebrating In Heaven ...
Sylvia F Allison

Memories of our loved one we hold near
In our hearts, we mourn her so
Today is the birthday of our Mother, so dear
Never wanting to let her go
Hold on to her hand ever so tight
Our loved ones who have gone before
While she celebrates in Heaven with you tonight
Our dear Mother whom we all adore
She will watch down today while we are at her grave
Placing flowers to commend her birth
She was loving, gentle and oh so brave
While she spent her time here on earth
Vickie, hold her tight and give her a kiss
From all of us left here behind
We know she is happy and in pure bliss
She is free now and not confined
Her memory returned to her that sad, cold night
When God called this angel to stay
To dwell in Heaven with all of you tonight
Celebrating today, her birthday ...
