As I�m walking down into the streets of town, I see that one is lost, and I see what I have lost. My life couldn�t hardly breath, I knew that I couldn�t see, what I was going to meet
VERSE 1:
And I was running out of air and running out of space, and running into every thing that I had come to face, and as I saw what I�d done I ran a faster pace, towards my fears in a land with no air.
As I walked into the forest, and saw I needed rest, before I sought my quarry in the woods. As I slept, I dreamt the worst, that every thing was wrong from the first. I looked at the clock, and not one to mock; I set on my journey like bird with all his flock
VERSE 2:
Cuz I was running out of air and running out of time, and running out of everything that I had spent a dime on. I saw what must be done, and put away the fun, and tried to be careful not to jump the gun on, the person that I wanted most to find, his was the only kind of evil that was one of a kind. He took my friend and tried to take another, I must get rid of him, as would a mother. The only thing that I can do is try, to find all that I can find.
Then my friends came along, and I was not alone, and everything that I had feared was all the sudden gone. And as I marched up to that metal citadel, I saw how it came to pass that my friend was hit and fell. But no army of any size could stop me from my quest, I was going to march to battle and fight my very best.
VERSE 3:
I was running out of air, and running out of friends, and trying hard with all my strength to try and makes amends. All that I had done came crashing to a halt; I thought that all the losses were my own entire fault. But as those evil villains continued their assault, I knew that I had to fight until I had no salt left.
And ounce it all was over, I saw what had taken place. I wiped all the sweat from my weary face. It seemed all to be in vain, as I thought about all the pain. Much was lost and much was also gained, in this battle that was on the Redwood plains. I looked about and began to shout that every fear and every doubt had come to me, and that when I began to see that...
VERSE 4;
I had ran out of air, and ran out of breath, and I looked about and saw much death, had come. I came to see the violence and the gore. I had won the battle, but not the war that was inside me. It was only beginning, of the test that was the center of my being.
As I walk around the street, I try my best not to fret, I had finally met, what I was fearing all my life.
VERSE 5 (SOFTLY):
I got back all my air, though not all is fair, here. All the crimes that I had solved, nothing in my lifetime, will every come to match all that I must catch in the center of my eye. I ran out of air.
