Have you ever wanted to just escape?
Get away to a better place?
When the same old is not enough,
Sick and tired of the regular stuff?
When time seems to just go on,
Leaving you all alone
Friends you have met change your life
Then you lose them and there is nothing left
You feel so left behind
As you work yourself on the nine to five
Everyone seems to have changed
Yet you, yourself are still the same
Have you made mistakes you cannot fix
Do you feel your mind playing tricks
Taking you back to that time
When everything to you just made sense
And now it feels that nothing does
As you watch time skip by
Nothing is right, yet nothing is wrong
But it�s like a dream
And in the dream it feels so right
And when you wake you scream in fright
Wishing that the sweet memories of the dream
Was still in grasp
Have you ever been frustrated to the point of tears
Wishing you could change the way
Things turned when you made that call
On that rainy day sit and throw your life away
You felt so weak and thought you were right
For the decision you had made
Now looking back, it seems to be the worst
Decision you have ever made
You wish and hope and even pray to god
To take you back to decision day
So you could make things right again
And sit in sorrow no matter they say
Well now it is way too late
To back and speculate
Just sit back and go for the ride
See where life takes you
And just swallow your pride
Because no matter what
This is where you are now
Make the best of it
ALL YOU CAN DO IS TRY.
