The Things I Did When I Was Young
Joan Elizabeth White

When I was young I danced
for what seemed like hours with no end
On the pur of the moment

so I turned the volume up so loud.

In those days when I was young
way back in my past
I never buckled my seatbelt
and I drove my car to fast

those days have come those
days have gone
I don't seek out adventure
just content to stay home.

Riding in the car with the
windows down with the wind
blowing my hair
those were careless times
when I didn't have a care
