Is it still true what they say?
Is it true that Im only a king for a day?
Well if that's the case, then I guess I can't stay,
I cant become the man I need to fear
Did you see what I nearly became?
How did this happen so quickly?
So focused on hate, and happy with pain,
So determined to forget the moment I became,
A longer man to be considered small
Nullifying my own pain, to keep real my need for you,
Doing anything I could, remembering times I made you laugh,
But Im full of feelings that can only run from sun-light,
Knowing nothing, Of what love was direct in my face,
I will make you hurt, the way I hurt now!
I will make you cry, the way I cry now!
I must go, as I know I cant stay,
For Im only King for a day,
And that day was today!
