Droplets falling, merging, rivers in creases, salty
I thought I would laugh
Doubled over, breathless, tearful
I thought I would yell
Deep within, large, loud, full-bodied yelp
Instead, I sighed
Deep, fulfilling, relief, realization
Instead, I smiled
Knowledge realized, life-long ache eased
Instead, I loved
All encompassing, pulling you in, making one
Crying, laughing, yelling, sighing, smiling
And loving
