Bracing The Ninja
Rachel Kewin

He steps forward disappearing inside of me;
Unlatching the lock to my heart and keeping the key.
I notice her laughing with you but I am the girl,
You long for her as the dragon does the pearl.
How odd, your heart dissolving skin and breathing;
My heart journeys to yours, what is the meaning?
Spirits promote the ceremony, our hearts unite;
My new heart, coated with the knowledge on how to fight.
An old lady greets each heart with a light kiss,
Many angels are in life but you are the only one I will miss.
Purple fairies gaze into t.v. screens set upon our hearts,
They mimic my image in the dojo, practicing martial arts.
You're beside me in the rose garden, I've been here before;
Pain from the past has totally fled; you are the cure?
In your face I loudly sing,"Miss me dear?"
I brace you in red clouds yet you have fear!
Distrustful ninja, you must be faithful to recieve;
Drift longer in the Nothing; I will not let you leave!
My turn to coat your heart but you fade,
Thank you ninja; I will never forget how I was made.
