What An Experience
Amarjit Bhambra

What an Experience

We saved so much to travel this far,
The rest of the journey we made by car.

The Lotus Temple was so nice,
And for lunch it had to be rice.

The heat was so high,
It made the children cry.

The seventh wonder of the world,
The Taj Muhal,
Magnificent sight all built in marble.

Than we walked the streets of Delhi,
Guess what, some one stole my money.

The children beggars poor and bare
The Government there do not really care.

Parliament House amongst the palms,
Beautiful flowers, beautiful lawns.

A disabled beggar, no arms, no legs,
Shame on the Government he has to beg.

Elephant and camel rides are a must,
Snake charmers with snakes in baskets hiss

Onto the steam train we will go,
Miles and miles of green field show.
