Comfort Blanket
Keri McGriff

Saneness haunts hopeless-sleep.
Exhausted conscience tortures my mind.
Lonely thoughts born scared hopes as
endless tears dance from my eyes.
Cold empty room blankets gloom through
mental ghosts and fades.
