Tore My Heart Out
Mike Axe

She sits by herself
In the back of the room
she cries tears upon her lap
wondering where shell go from here
She curls up in a ball
Weeping all day long
Because she killed him

Chestnut hair, starlit teeth
Musky cologne he wore
He died in her arms
Just the night before
She said no to marry him
Torn apart is what he did
He stabbed himself in the chest
And let her pull the knife out then
His heart upon the end of the knife
She ripped his heart out that cold black night.
