Daddy's Girl
Christy Mack

Daddy's little girl.
She didn't know him well.
A little abuse, a little ignorance
a few too many beers
Hey, it never hurt nobody right?
And she sure as hell couldn't tell.

SHE'LL ALWAYS BE DADDY'S GIRL.
even if he's a little angry.

Daddy's little girl.
She didn't see his shame.
A little coke, some hydroponic smoke
maybe that might ease your pain
You think so?

YOU'LL ALWAYS BE DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL.
even if he doesn't know.

Daddy... HELP!
Your little girl, well, she's starting to grow!
Shut her eyes! Turn her away!
Daddy! no! please!
don't let yourself show.
And don't let ANYONE in.

YOU'RE STILL HIS LITTLE GIRL.
or atleast when he wants you to be.

For your little girl, Daddy, set a good example!
Tell them all something social services could handle!
Or maybe in April when income taxes are due...
You could right her off like all your other property, too.

YOU'LL ALWAYS BE HIS LITTLE GIRL.
As long as you don't do anything wrong.
Remember, Daddy doesn't have to stick around.
Not if he doesn't want to. He's told you that.

Daddy's gonna lock me up in his
heart shaped box
And stare at me,
oh so perfectly
Trapped and blinded... is this the way you love me?

YOU'RE DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL.
Just don't tell anyone what he's really like.
Then he might abandon you, so, you know...
be careful.

Well...
I'm afraid he's eluded you
And wasn't it easy?
I mean...
nobody's gotta be a dad if they don't want to,
right?

YOU'RE HIS LITTLE GIRL...
as long as the custody agreement says he's gotta see you.
So what's wrong?

What's the matter sweetheart?
I don't listen when you talk?
Wait, what was that you said?
Oh, I'm busy next weekend for sure...
umm...
Maybe some other time.
I can't call you though, you know I can't stand your mother...
you call me.

What's the matter, sweetie pie?
I'm sorry! Really, I am! What was that?
I guess you're finding me a bit cruel.
I'm sorry. Can I make up for fourteen years, you ask?
Well, I'm not sure, let me check my schedule.

Of course, you'll always be my little girl.
But only when I say so.
