Embrace The Wind Toni Jaquay Lynch
Like two ships in a
foggy sea
We passed each other,
but barely saw.
Our bows bumped
Our sails grazed.
But it was a whisper of an
Embrace.
A whisper was all
it took.
My ship docks now,
But will never forget the
Voyage.
The trip to Atlantis
That lead my ship past
Yours.
And the sail stays down...
Wondering when we will again
Embrace.

"A very nice extended version of the phrase: Two ships passing in the night. I see that this poem was copyrighted in Dec. 1999, which I found to be odd, but then I realized some people just show things on this board just to show them. My use for it is to gain experience and hopefully some "useful" critiques. So if you ever want to check out the story "Strand of Hare" when it makes its grand appearance to replace "The Cotton Tale", I'd welcome any input you have upon it, especially since it will feature some poetry in with the prose." -- EC Allen.
