DESCRIPTION Problem Of The Past - A single, short poem that was written after helping a friend. It came from the bottom of my heart and I would do anything to understand what she has gone through in her life so far. The reality is told in the poem, I never will fully understand, but I will always be there to help her whenever she needs me the most. [126 words] What Is The Difference? - A short poem wrote after reading the novel, Night by Ellie Wiesel. Basically, all feelings about the whole novel put into a poem. [104 words]
Sitting on my bed
I listen to you cry
I watch the tears run down your face
I listen to your problems
And I try to help
But now I can only watch
I still listen
And that helps
But I can never rid you of this problem
It's a problem of the past
But it will stay with you
Trapped inside the back of your head
I try to listen to you explain
Try to explain what this problem is
But I can never fully understand
I have never felt this kind of pain
The pain you are feeling right now
I watch you cry
Wishing your problem will go away
But it won't
It will hide but it will reveal its face again
Maybe tomorrow, Maybe a week from now
But it will come back
And I will listen and watch you cry once more
Trying to understand
What Is The Difference?
We all breath,
We all walk,
We all see,
So, What is the Difference?
We all feel love,
We all feel hate,
We feel the same emotions,
So, What is the Difference?
We all make mistakes,
We all have problems,
We are all Human Beings,
So, What is the Difference?
The Difference is,
Our actions and our beliefs,
Our looks,
That is the Difference.
But we are all the same,
We are different in some ways,
But ways that shouldnt matter,
Ways that are so small,
So, she has black hair and I do not,
Should I hate her?
He is Arabian and I am Jewish,
Should I despise him?
We have our differences,
But they are so small,
Basically we are all the same,
So, is there REALLY a difference?
