there is intense fear�
i can feel it within you;
however, there does not need to be�
it is ok,
it will be alright.
back then there was life
lived as best as could be,
then there was the uncertainty
as you know it�
knew it.
think�think back to what was-
to back then.
what was it that made you,
do you remember?
how old, remember?
you were fourteen
when the first �lie� was spoke.
fourteen when we spoke of suicide
and you recanted.
thirteen when you were told
your reality was �mere fiction�.
twelve when you were told
your words were �unbelievable�.
shall i keep going?
at eleven you were labeled
and at ten you no longer knew
what was best for yourself.
at nine you were of no worth.
do you remember?
at eight you were mistaken,
all the time.
at seven you were always wrong.
silenced at age six and
at five ignored.
before all of that you were,
that�s it-just were.
you existed
but was there more?
remember�do you?
you were not neglected
so much as forgotten.
you feel it, even today.
you are always and forever
�out of sight-out of mind�,
even today you feel it.
more than feel it,
you know it.
how often,
how many times?
you had to remind them�
always remind them
of your presence.
