We see a heavy truck comes rushing down into them form the front. At the last moment, David enables to get away from its line and in the course they hit on to a road side protection iron bar. The car ceases to stop. The radiator goes busted. CARLA You ok.? DAVID Yeah, and you? CARLA I’m fine. David comes out of the car, pummeling the tires in distress. CARLA We just come in to... DAVID (interrupts) So what the hell you were talking on that day on the mall? IRVIN (laughs) I reckon you took it damn seriously? 6. DAVID That’s why I’m here with my girl. Now show up. CARLA David has received a few awful calls. He suspects... DAVID So what you think, you rat, I’m afraid of your threats. Takes his position... The door opens. MAC enters from the dark. We don’t see his face yet. David smashes the stick on his shoulder, topples him over. David comes down again on him beating up, but to realize Mac at once,as the camera CU on him. MAC (shouts) It’s me, Mac. Easy, David. DAVID I know it’s you. MAC Yeah man, me. Cool down, it’s ok. David pulls him up with his hand. DAVID (anxiously) What the hell are you doing here at this time of night? Both walk to sit on the sofa. David throws away the stick onto the sofa. 12. MAC Surprise man! Isn’t it? I just got out of the jail and thought to see you. DAVID Why me? MAC We’re buddies. Aren’t we? DAVID You think so. I’ve heard listening that you hate me? MAC (laughs) Really! That’s correct but it’s nothing profound. Mac stands on his heel, picks up the golf stick and touches it reverently. DAVID Profound? What does that mean? Mac moves closer to David, holding the stick. He raises the stick high in air and a gesture of his hand gives us a look as if he is going to smash it on David’s head. MAC (angrily) Those were college days when I hate you because you were a golf champion and I had never won against you. He throws away the stick on the wall in anger. MAC (CONT’D) Man you were great. David smiles, goes into the kitchen. We stay at Mac, who looks aimlessly across the room. David returns with a couple pack of juices. Throws one over to Mac. Both start drinking in sips. MAC (CONT’D) Why were you so afraid, when I entered? 13. DAVID Ahhh, these are really bad days. Something strange is happening to me. MAC Strange? DAVID Yeah, I’m receiving a few calls. DAVID You were, Mac. MAC I think you’re terribly mistaken by someone else. DAVID Come on! I saw you riding on your car. I figured out you because of your big mustaches. Mac throws the juice packet away into the dustbin. MAC Wait, wait! I think, perhaps, we have got a real misunderstanding here. I hadn’t been to your home since I went to the jail. This is by God, for the first time I’ve come to see you. 14. DAVID How dare you? MAC Come on! David. DAVID Who’s the fucking guy trying to kill me then? MAC (astonished) O! my God. Kill..., I can’t even think of doing this piece of a shit. DAVID (loudly) But you were to jail being accused of a murder. Weren’t you? MAC That wasn’t proved. You know it. DAVID I do know this and I do also know that laws can easily be manipulated in this country. MAC Whatsoever, I’m innocent and I didn’t murder anyone. DAVID Then, how you got there? Mac leans back on sofa, sighs. MAC Okay, I tell you but you have to gotta believe in me, right? DAVID Right, go on. Suddenly, from nowhere, we see a train of bullets being fired. David helps himself to roll back on the sofa. Mac gets hit and he falls down. The firing continues, piercing walls from everywhere, breaking glasses, pots, a t.v and the hanging pictures on the wall. 15. The firing halts after a few moments. David comes running to Mac. Suddenly the back door wide opens and Irvin enters, holding his rifle. David sees him coming, shoots on him. Irvin manages to get away and hides behind a wall. IRVIN (O.S) David, you don’t have the slightest of an idea of what’s going on your back. DAVID You can’t put it away by spitting out some fucking dumb words. Irvin appears on the corner of the frame. David shoots at him again. He helps himself to get out of the range. 16. IRVIN (O.S) Don’t mess up things, boy. DAVID Shut up! Come out, you scoundrel. I’ll kill you. IRVIN(O.S) If you say so,okay, baby, I’m coming right there. David comes closer to the wall where Irvin hides but to his astonishment he finds no one there. Suddenly from his back , he hears a groaning voice. IRVIN Here, I’m. David turns and shoots aimlessly at him. Irvin finds his position and shoots back at him hitting on his arm. David falls down. Blood runs down on his body. He looses his weapon on the ground. Irvin comes closer, flares his rifle at him. IRVIN (CONT’D) I’m not ordered to kill you, otherwise you have been part of the floor. Carla appears from the corner of the frame, holding a gun. CARLA He’s right. I didn’t want you to be killed. DAVID Carla, you? CARLA You know why I didn’t want him to kill you because I’ll do it on my own. DAVID (screams) Why, Carla? What’s going on? CARLA You had been so rude to me in college days. Remember, you didn’t take me in your skating team. 17. DAVID So what’s the point Carla? CARLA Instead you picked up Mac and ruined my career, that you knew, I was so desperate to take. DAVID I picked up the best man to team. It was a matter of death and life for our college. CARLA But you loved me, David. You should have picked me up. DAVID (screams) For God’s sake! It was only a sport, Carla. IRVIN To hell with that. You fucking rascal. You helped to caught my friend Sam, cheating in the final college exams and he ends up in joining a gang of killers. What you think you’re a fucking macho? DAVID No, no Irvin, that wasn’t me. IRVIN Dammit! I saw you in the Dean’s office that very day. He comes running down on David and kicks him in his belly. David screams... Sam appears from the back, shouts. He holds on a long range rifle. We still don’t see his face. He has covered up. SAM He is damn shit right. That wasn’t him but that was his all time beloved friend, Mac. DAVID Who the hell are you? 18. SAM The fucking guy wanted Sam to be pissed-off from the college elections. The rascal won it. CARLA I hated him. SAM The fucking guy didn’t stop here, but intruded into Carla’s life too. CARLA He threatened to kill me. DAVID Why he wanted to kill you? CARLA Because he was such a shit heel... IRVIN Mac knew Carla was cheating on David, so he threatened to kill Carla and attempted in the fast food restaurant because he never wanted his friend to be cheated like that way. CARLA That’s why he’s dead. IRVIN Sam killed him. DAVID What the fucking it has to do anything with me? CARLA David, I hated you the day you dropped me and I went on Irvin’s side to take this revenge. Sam joined us for this common cause. SAM You ain’t that dumb. You know David, what a shit you’re? The whole plan was yours and you used Mac since your college days. Just ruined our lives and our fucking careers. I’m gonna kill you, son of a bitch. 19. David struggles to reach his weapon. Sam shoots at him, injuring his hand. Sam pulls off his mask. David screams... DAVID Sam, you...? CARLA Yes, that’s him. Sam flares his gun at him. SAM Get ready! CARLA No, Sam. He’s my prey. It’s a next best thing to putting a bullet clear through his head. Let me finish. Carla points her automatic at him. Pulls the trigger... We hear a staccato roar. Carla falls down with a squeal. Her breath comes in gasps and eventually stops. BOSS appears from behind Carla, holding his gun with a smoke billowing up from the barrel. David gets up in the mean time, runs to hit Irvin in his belly ruthlessly, knocks him over. Sam opens fire at Boss, who flings himself out of line. David smacks a series of hard punches across Irvin’s face, manages to hold on his gun, slams again across the face with the butt, shattering his jawbone and ripping his mouth apart, leaving him unconscience, gasping in pain. Boss and Sam exchange a series of fire at each other. David helps himself to get on the Boss side and joins him. DAVID Sam, don’t make it a shooting match. I assure, you will go down dead. David opens the fire at Sam. Sam gets one bullet clean through his head, blood gushes out of his mouth and he lays dead. DAVID Thanks boss! 20. BOSS As soon as I received your call, I started following you and and thanks God you’re safe. DAVID Yah, a few wounds, but not much significant. Both pass by Carla’s dead body. DAVID You were such a softy, Carla. BOSS The plot was great. That’s why I like intelligent people to work in my office. Both walk away laughing.
